“The films of Katrina were inspired by commercials and fashion films.  Motion is the future of the fashion industry and something that I am very passionate about.  A picture can show a lot about an individual, but motion can create that individual.  It really shows their versatility and the medium has endless capabilities to visually express myself.  These films of Katrina was our attempt at creating a beauty, commercial, sexy and editorial story through motion.  Katrina was also the muse for the film “rather lovely thing.”

Fantasy, romance, dreams, escape. “Rather Lovely Thing” from filmmaker Billy Rood traces a young woman’s inner search for a sense of beauty to unlock the alchemy that forges hope from fear. Not the unreachable standard that decorates museum walls, but the décor of her mind, found along the elusive divide between dream and reality. The inner her–silly, awkward, embarrassing, even painful. A realm that can either save her or like a dream, slip away.
