Growing up my first inspirations for storytelling were Marvel Comics (My addiction to X-Men was incomprehensible) and Steven Spielberg movies. I can still remember being freaked out by that shark in jaws and that killer tune that warned of his prescence. The experience of awe and terror that was created in Jurrassic Park. The courage of Schindlers List.

Over the years i’ve added to my list of inspirations with directors and writers such as Christopher Nolan and David Fincher. John Lasseter and Judd Apatow. Hitchcock and Spike Lee. Scorcese and Tarantino. Frank Miller and The Cohen Bros. And the list goes on….

Some of them made me laugh til it hurt, Some made me want to sleep with the light on that night. But What my favorites filmmakers have in common is the ability to make me feel something. To care. To think.

As a Writer and Director my goal is to create that same experience for others. And to hopefully inspire and engage others as my favorites did with me.
