Filmmaker

As a graduate & documentary filmmaker from the Cinema and Photography department at Southern Illinois University, Joe came to fig Media 5 years ago to serve the company as a video editor.   His creative hunger & consistent drive for bigger, and cooler projects has made him a film director/producer of films and commercials with fig.  When not directing or producing films, Joe is typically shooting & managing other fig projects or making additional income as a personal trainer.

Each year Joe visits at least three film festivals (Sundance, Telluride, SXSW, Toronto) across the country to see who is up and coming and meet filmmakers who are making their way into the professional film world.

Joe’s personal goals include producing and directing a multi-million dollar feature-length film about Chicago residents in the year 1985, as well as a feature-length documentary Chicago Bears Superfans.  Joe also will produce a successful film-making department that creates projects that touch the lives of all, and promote the theory of creativity in everything we do.

Joe enjoys a GOOD meal by cooking often & eating predominately gluten-free, sugar-free, vegetarian meals.  He very much loves his two younger brothers Robby and Ricky, his Mom,  his late Father  & Grandmother (may they both rest in peace), and the rest of his extended family that has taken turns on supporting his upbringing.
